EQUALS Assessment Videos


The following four Equals Assessment videos were created by Bridges’ consultant, Christy McDonald, for Alberta teachers of students with significant disabilities using the AbleNet Equals math teaching resource. Materials mentioned in these videos are available only in the Equals math kit and through access to the Members Only resource.


EQUALS ASSESSMENT PART ONE

Part One of this video series provides an introduction to the assessment component of Equals Math and focuses on:

  • why it is important that teachers complete an individualized assessment
    for each student
  • how teachers can use the information from these assessments and
  • other types of assessments that can be done on an ongoing basis using
    Equals Math.
